Getting Started with Nivi Cloud

Getting Started with Nivi Cloud

Nivi Cloud is Gen X Web Hosting’s managed app platform. After your Nivi Cloud service is Active, open it from Client Area → Services → Manage to deploy and run applications with HTTPS, logs, a browser terminal, environment variables, and optional custom domains.

Before you begin

  1. Order a Nivi Cloud plan from the Nivi Cloud product page or your Client Area catalog.
  2. Wait until the service status shows Active (pending orders cannot open Manage).
  3. In Client Area, go to Services, open your Nivi Cloud service, and click Manage.

What you see on Overview

The Overview tab is your control center for the running stack.

Manage → Overview (resources, URL, domain, power actions)

  • Resources — allocated CPU and RAM for your plan (for example Starter: 1 CPU core, 2048 MB RAM).
  • Private network — your app runs isolated with its own storage.
  • Testing URL — an instant HTTPS address for your app (SSL is handled for you).
  • Custom domain — point an A or CNAME record at the server IP shown in Manage, then use Add Custom Domain so we can issue SSL for your hostname.

Plan app limits

Each plan includes a fixed number of applications (for example Starter = 1 app). When you are at the limit, additional Templates show as Locked. To run a different template, remove or replace the current app, or upgrade your plan.

Features such as logs, terminal, HTTPS, and managed options where offered are available on every plan — plans differ mainly by resources and how many apps you can run.
