Deploy n8n on Nivi Cloud

n8n is available as a one-click Template on Nivi Cloud (automation platform with 400+ nodes and external runners). This guide covers launching it from Manage and the day-2 controls you will use most.

Requirements

• An Active Nivi Cloud service
• An available app slot on your plan (Starter allows 1 application). If Templates show Locked, free a slot or upgrade first.

Deploy from Templates

1. Open Client Area → Services → your Nivi Cloud service → Manage.
2. Open the Templates tab.
3. Search for n8n (or browse the Automation category).
4. Select the n8n template and confirm deploy when prompted.
5. Wait until Overview shows the stack ACTIVE and containers Running.

A typical n8n managed stack may include multiple containers, for example:

• n8n — the main application
• n8n-db — managed Postgres for n8n data
• n8n-runner — external execution runner (when included)

Overview after n8n is Active

After deploy

1. Open the testing URL (HTTPS) from Overview.
2. Complete n8n’s own first-time setup in the browser (create your owner account inside n8n). Use a strong password and store it safely — this is separate from your Gen X Client Area login.
3. Optionally attach a custom domain on Overview after DNS is pointed correctly.

Operating n8n from Manage

Tips

• Environment values marked private are encrypted; do not paste production secrets into tickets or screenshots.
• Save & Deploy on Environment applies a rolling redeploy — expect a short interruption.
• n8n login/setup uses credentials you create inside n8n — not your hosting Client Area password.
