Taking backup of database and restoring it in cpanel.

Taking backup of database

  1. Login to your control panel and click Backups.

 

 

  1. Under Download a MySQL Database Backup, click the name of the database.

 

 

  1. By clicking on the database, a download dialogue box will appear. Download the database backup locally.

 

 

NOTE: - Once you have a backup, if you ever lose your data, then you can restore the database easily and quickly.


 

To restore a database backup, please follow the steps given below:

  1. Login to your control panel and click Backups.



  1. Under Restore a MySQL Database Click the Browse button to select the database backup.

 

 

  1. Select the .sql.gz file which you want you want to restore and then click open.

 

 

  1. Click the Open button and click the Upload button.
