In order to setup FileZilla, follow the steps given below:
1. Once you’ve downloaded and installed FileZilla, launch the program.
2. Navigate to File tab > Site Manager Menu.
3. Click on New Site to configure the new connection:
4. The recommended (FTP) settings are as follows:
- Host: Domainname.com or Server IP
- Port: 21
- Encryption: Only use plain Ftp (insecure)
- Logon Type: Normal
- User: your Ftp username
- Password: your Ftp password.
5. Click Connect.
6. After successful connection you will get the success status and the file directories.
Note: You will only see the file/folders of which you have given access while creating the FTP account in your hosting panel.
